Kelly Brogan’s last book “A Mind of Your Own” made so much sense to me, as Kelly believes that depression isn’t something that as a society we should be trying to “fix” with medication, but should instead view as a symptom of continually trying to live at odds with our true selves. Something we can holistically heal by trying a radical new approach to our own mental health.
In Own Your Self, to be published in September. she takes this idea a step further and sets those us muddling our way through life in a perpetual fog a challenge to discern the meaning in our symptoms and our struggle as a way to reclaim our health and sense of self.
