Keep It Simple: A Guide to a Happy Relaxed Home

It doesn’t do to complicate things does it? Which is why I adore the very premise of Atlanta Bartlett’s latest book: Keep It Simple.

Because in decoration, as in life, simplicity elevates all that is to be enjoyed without complicating the minds eye with frippery…

And I don’t know about you, but despite Pinterest, the Kindle and all the other wonders of modern technology, there is still room on my shelves for pretty books packed with inspiration…

  1. I wish I could have a white house, with white walls and white slip covers. I’d like to blame three children and a husband, but truthfully me and white have a hate-hate thing going on. I can do the bashed, shabby chic look, but only in a colour that hides finger prints and the regular smudge of chocolate.

Having said that, I like Atlanta’s style and I always enjoy your book recommendations, so this one will creep onto my wishlist and wait for a good reason to jump into my basket.

Congratulations on getting The Art of Home-making onto the Kindle. I have purchased (£1.90 is a nice little price!) and left my review. Hope you approve x
